Karl Karlgaard, 2nd Bn., 27th Inf., 1968-69

Karl Karlgaard spent the first five months of his Vietnam tour as an infantryman and RTO with Bravo Company, 2nd Bn., 27th Infantry.  He then spent nearly 10 months as a correspondent for the Wolfhound battalion and for the 20th Public Information Detachment, which was supporting the 2nd Brigade of the 25th Infantry Division.
