Please enter your comments: I was with the Golden Dragons at Schofield bks and won the light wt championship in boxing the year of 1961. then I went to the jungle guerilla warfare training center as instructor for ambush and river crossing and rope bridges this was the best unit in my life I can still see it all in my mind we were the first to teach at the Viet Nam village. there we were call jungle bunnies .My first unit in Viet Nam was the 25th Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol and again we were the test unit for items like 22 Cal with silencer and were trained with the long Bow for night ambush we were issued arrows out of the U.S.O club Our first hat was the Australian bush hat with net in the them. We went out we had floppy bush hat never had a steel pot all the time I was in country. But none of us will ever forget the help from our counter part the 3/4 Air Cav call( Centaur) they pulled our butts out one hell of a lot of times so to them thank you. You all did a job to be proud of . It may be over but never forgotten again the last time I was in Viet Nam was today and again to night as it is every night. so keep the faith.

Sir, My name is Michael G. Wager I am the Web Master of the Thomahawks 4th 23inf 25th Inf Division Vietnam Veterans Here is our URL http://home.thirdage.com/Military/the4th23infmec/

I have just visited the Main Web Site 25th Infantry Division Light. I seam to be at a loss and maybe you can help me.

I am somewhat concerned at the lack of information on the Vietnam War. There were 22 members of the 25th Infantry Division that received the Vietnam War Medal of Honor one of them was our Brother Sp/4 Petersen, Danny J. I would like to have this over site corrected. If you would be kind enough to direct me to the correct person or department that could fix this.

We the members of the 4/23 Vietnam Veterans our proud of our contribution to the Vietnam War and the sacrifice made By Danny and would like to see him remember in your Web Site.

  Thank you in advance
   Michael G. Wager

I have acquired all of our daily journals and most of the operational level After a action Reports, that are posted on my web page. WE were an aviation company. Our total job was supporting grunts. To build our history, we made yours. I need a little help reconstructing ours. If you have moments you can remember where we bailed you out, resupplied you, medi-vaced you, supported you, the help would surely be appreciated. It would serve us all in the end. It will be a history book in journalistic fashion, and then a novel "Diamondhead". Thank You for your efforts, for us, and for your country....Ron Leonard

Sergeant James Strange, who helped me be a better clerk. Sergeant Fisher who was our supply sergeant. A little guy with a big heart. He drove a 1957 Cadilac with the biggest fins you have ever seen. Sergeant Zirpoli who was the craziest guy that ever lived. And my buddies. Leonard Iwan from Nebraska. Herbie Peterson from Minnesota. Earl Sanders from Minnesota. Jim Proulx from Michigan.
