On 16 August 1986 the company was reorganized and redesignated as the 125th Finance Battalion. From 2004-2005 during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom, the battalion furnished financial support to the 25th Infantry Division. The 125th Finance Battalion is assigned to the 8th Sustainment Command (Theater) and stationed at Schofield Barracks.
